(sorry, just had to get this out of my system! I'll get going on those commissions now! i'm so sorry about being so slow!!!)
Inspired by the words to the new Shippuuden OP: "You've gotta be extra careful with the things nearest to you You know the closer you get to something the tougher it is to see it And I'll never take it for granted" This picture is kind of what NaruSaku is to me. It's seems *so* close, like it's right in front of us, and yet--!! Hehe guess we'll see what happens. (Btw that's supposed to be a glass of some sort inbetween Naruto and Sakura but I completely SUCKED at trying to make it look like glass!!) I used a reference for the pose for the first time..(EDIT: reference pic is [link] thank you  for finding it!! ). I thought it was a great pose and worked perfectly with the lyrics. Guess it's not so bad to use references once in a while, huh?For coloring I decided to stick to safe old cell shading style. It's heck of a lot cleaner looking. For background I just went crazy with a bunch of brushes until it looked like something. XD Will I ever draw a NaruSaku fanart in which they actually kiss? Who knows. |
