I kinda wished that, after all the he-understands-my-pain stuff they went through, these two coulda just had a time to hang out and actually talk to each other (ESPECIALLY after Naruto freaking saved Gaara's life!!). Hehe but I guess we know that can't happen. Too mushy.

Anyways, this is just a sketch of Gaara and Naruto I didn't care to clean up. I just gave it a quick color because during the first arc of Shippuuden, I was doodling Gaara all over the place but didn't care to post anything. I finally got pushed today after rewatching the episode where Gaara fought Kimimaro. He kicked so much ass yet had these adorable facial expressions at the same time (like when he felt bad about breaking Lee's limbs, aww XD ). I'm still amazed at how noticable Gaara's change was in that reappearance, even though his expressions were so settle. I tried to draw that cute, kinder expression in this picture (and failed!). I never thought a character I used to hate so much could seem so adorable now ^^
