This is an interesting area I wish the manga explored more -- Haruka with Usagi and Mamoru with Michiru. Not that it really "went" anywhere with Mamoru and Michiru...it was just Usagi's jealous-girlfriend-overprotectiveness taking over. Haruka and Usagi, on the other hand, were getting somewhere and it was pretty interesting. Ugh, but right when it was getting good in vol. 8, Mamoru and Usagi talked it over and made up instantly. The end. :doh: Sucks!

I know Haruka's a female and just teased the other girls, but she makes such a great guy character! I really loved the flirtiness and thought she was genuinely interested in Usagi in the manga. Too bad Mamoru and Usagi have to be so perfect :/

Anyywaysss this was my attempt at making an anime version of the scenes that got Mamoru and Usagi jealous. ^_^ Too bad Mamoru didn't get to see when Haruka kissed Usagi...bet he wouldn't have been so forgiving then. :P

Urgh, yes! I'm sorry, but Mamoru gets on my nerves. He's too perfect half the time, and the rest of the time (at least in the anime, not as much in the manga) he's always being a douche to Usagi.... Like when she got left at the bus stop and he didn't bother getting off at the next stop or saying anything to the driver, saying instead, "Oh, she'll catch the next one." I'd never do that! Anyway, while I do support Michiru and Haruka 100% as a couple, I love the idea of Haruka and Usagi, as well as Usagi and Seiya (though I wish the manga had explored that possibility as much as the anime did!) I'm just pretty much a huge admirer of Haruka and Mamoru fails to impress me.

Haruka does make a great guy character! If there was a really random pairing for me to ship, it would be Haruka and Usagi. I never in a million years would have shipped them together, because I love how great Haruka and Michiru are, but I think Haruka and Usagi would be great as well.

Volume 8?! *flips through a current copy of the Kodansha re-release of Sailor Moon, volume 8). Hm, this one only has the end of Death Busters arc and the start of the Dead Moon Circus arc.

I guess the original release of the series was collected in tankoban form a bit differently than the current re-release.

Actually if I remeber right in the manga he DID see Haruka kiss Usagi, but he didnt say anything and walked away....hhmm, now that I think about it Usagi has MANY different semi-cannon pairings like this....

Usagi and Haruka definitely had a great chemistry between them and it had been awfully wasted. I love them as a couple (no offence to HxM fans).
