More Team 7! ^_^
I've been slowly working on this inbetween commissions since February and I'm so happy I'm finally done!  It's a gift art for one of my favorite doujinka, Mirai-Kouku ( [link] ) who, in her recent book, drew a story in which Sasuke dreams of a world in which he never left Konoha. It's a really great story and I love the way Mirai-Kouku drew them as adults.  It was really fun drawing Team 7 grown-up because the guys look awesome in their flak jackets and Mirai-Kouku came up with such a pretty design for grown-up Sakura (who, I guess, didn't need a flak jacket since she probably would've stayed weak if Sasuke didn't leave Konoha). I was about to try another new coloring style with this, but it wasn't working out so I decided to try out old cel shading again. I'm happy with the result! |

Hey hey, looks like they are in the ranks of their mentor Kakashi. But somehow it's just weird to see Sasuke to be happy together with Naruto and Sakura in their adult versions. Kinda makes me reminisce of that Naruto and his family picture that you drawn. Sweet but very bitter memory.
Gonna love Naruto and Kakashi! Looks so well matured to me, althought I still think Naruto is just a little kid.
